BEANS AND LEGUMES COOKING CHART

Consider this chart a general guide, cooking times can vary due to many factors such as how long the bean has been in storage, hardness of the water, etc.  For best results, wash and sort the beans and then soak the beans overnight, discarding the soak water before cooking. Do not add slt while the beans are cooking, it will make the skins hard and the beans will not cook, add any salt near the every end of cooking.
